Blind Witness eliminates this entirely. It works within the encrypted connection your browser already uses on every website. Through a multi-party computation during the TLS handshake, the session key is split so that no single party, including Blind Witness, ever sees your data in full. A zero-knowledge proof is then generated that lets you share only the specific detail you choose, like a balance or a job title, while keeping everything else private. The recipient can verify it came directly from the website's own certificate, not from you.
